CANCELLATION/ NO SHOW/ TARDY POLICY
We love our stylists, and we know that you do too! We also understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments. We kindly ask that you give us a minimum 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please be on time for your appointment. Once we are 10 minutes past your appointment time, there is no guarantee you'll be accommodated. A call to the salon is appreciated nonetheless. If an appointment is cancelled within the 24-hour period, guests will be charged 50% of the full scheduled service price. If you are late to your scheduled appointment by 10 minutes, you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service price. No show appointments will be charged the full scheduled service price prior to booking any future appointments with us.
We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and strive to ensure that every guest who leaves Kith + Kin Salon is 100% satisfied. However, if you find that you are unhappy with the end result of your service, we would be more than happy to make any needed adjustments to your hair within one week of your last appointment. Please note that Kith + Kin Salon does not offer complimentary services as a result of a change of mind or direction with hair cuts or color.
KITH + KIN SALON IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY
While our staff does our best to work as neatly as possible there are times color may get on clothing, or water may touch your clothes or shoes. While this does not happen often, we urge you to change out of your clothing, hang it up, and put on a smock provided by Kith + Kin Salon in our restroom. We cannot be held responsible for damages to clothing during a service.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your product purchase, you can either return or exchange it within 30 days from purchase.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
A positive environment at Kith + Kin Salon is our top priority. While we would like to open our doors to all, we will not tolerate rude, or demeaning behavior from our guests to any staff member or fellow guest. Guests behaving negatively or rudely will be asked to leave and not return. Kith + Kin Salon may not be the right fit for every guest’s desired look. While every stylist has strengths and weaknesses, we encourage our guests to give different Kith + Kin Salon stylists a try if it just wasn’t the right fit with one stylist. Kith + Kin Salon as a brand has a cohesive brand and look. Our brand may not be for everyone and that’s okay! If a guest’s requests do not fit with the Kith + Kin Salon brand we will kindly give suggestions on some great salons that may be a better fit for their needs.
To ensure we give our guests the attention they deserve, we ask our guests to leave children ages 10 and younger home unless the child is scheduled for an appointment in the salon. Guests who arrive for their appointments with children may be asked to reschedule. Haircuts for children 8 years old and under will be booked at the stylist’s discretion. Please do not bring sick children of any age into the salon. Children coming in for a service may be asked to reschedule if the child begins crying or moving their head excessively. This can be dangerous for both the child and stylist.
